OUR STORY
It started with one golden boy. 🐶
June 30th, 2023.
We brought home a fluffy, clumsy, tail-wagging golden retriever — and our entire world flipped upside down. In the best way possible. In the most chaotic way possible.
We were a couple who had dreamed of adopting a dog for years. And when it finally happened, we were over the moon. What we were not, was prepared.
The honest truth? We had no idea what we were doing.
The first few weeks were a whirlwind of vet visits, sleepless nights, and frantic 2 AM Google searches. "Is this food okay for dogs?" "Why is he scratching so much?" "What shampoo is safe for golden retrievers?"
We were first-time pet parents — and it showed.
We quickly realized that the world of pet care was overwhelming, confusing, and full of products that looked good on the outside but weren't good for him on the inside. Kibble-heavy diets. Harsh grooming products. Generic accessories that didn't fit, didn't last, or just didn't suit him.
We wanted better. He deserved better.
So we became obsessed. 🔍
We dove deep. We researched. We read. We asked questions, consulted experts, joined communities, and tested everything we could find.
We discovered the world of dehydrated treats — real food, no fillers, no nonsense. We figured out what grooming actually means for a dog's skin and coat — not just lather, rinse, repeat. We found accessories that were thoughtfully made, not just aesthetically pleasing. And we slowly, lovingly, built a lifestyle around our golden boy that made him healthier, happier, and more himself.
He went from a confused pup to a thriving, glossy-coated, treat-obsessed, accessorized gentleman. 🏅
And then we thought — what about everyone else?
Because here's the thing. Every first-time pet parent goes through this. The confusion, the guilt, the "am I doing this right?" spiral. We had been there. We had figured it out the hard way.
What if we could make it easier for others?
That thought became a conversation. That conversation became a plan. And that plan became The Pawsome House.

We are not a big corporation. We are not a faceless brand. We are two people, one very spoiled golden retriever, and a whole lot of passion for doing right by pets — and the people who love them.
